| Project Title: | Effective Control of Particulate Matter through their Characterization and Receptor Modeling |

| Particulate Matter pollution has become a matter of serious concern in India, with more than 70 non-attainment towns. Complexity and multiplicity of sources often result in improper action planning. Different techniques used for assessing source contributions and prioritizing actions still have some unresolved questions and uncertainties. During my Fulbright tenure, I will focus on investigating some of these issues in collaboration with U.S. research groups that have rich experience and expertise. Upon return, I hope to incorporate my Fulbright learning for air quality policy formulation and interventions in India. | |
